Breakthrough Addiction Recovery provides a non-traditional approach to marijuana addiction rehab. Our staff uses therapeutic techniques that lead our clients to analyze their addiction problems. This process enables clients to modify their addictive behaviors by changing destructive thought patterns to productive thought patterns. Positive, productive thoughts bring about positive, healthy behavioral outcomes.

Breakthrough offers a variety of treatment options. all used to meet the individual treatment needs of each client, while, at the same time, accommodating their schedule.

This four week marijuana addiction outpatient rehab program is for clients who live in the area and can come to our offices three evenings a week for therapy. Group therapy sessions last for three hours and are facilitated by a licensed therapist. These group sessions are not 12-Step based and utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy and cognitive restructuring methods. With the help of the therapist and group members, clients learn how to adjust to life without the use of marijuana. Clients have the opportunity to work individually with a licensed therapist and based on the needs of the client and the therapist's assessment, these may choose to include family therapy. Clients best suited for this program are those who:

• Have minimal or no risk of severe withdrawal
• Have very stable or no medical conditions
• Have very stable or no emotional, behavioral, or cognitive conditions
• Report a readiness to change to achieve sobriety
• Need minimal support to maintain abstinence
• Have a supportive environment and good coping skills

This program includes:

• Screening, intake, and orientation about our services  
• Clinical assessment including a biopsychosocial assessment  
• Individualized treatment planning with an interdisciplinary staff
• Non 12-Step group therapy session facilitated by a licensed therapist
• 10 individual therapy sessions with a licensed therapist

This marijuana addiction rehab program was developed for individuals who do not live in area or those who live in the area that need to accelerate their recovery or stabilize any physical or mental health issues. The accelerated program condenses our cognitive behavioral therapy into a two week outpatient program. This program includes individual and group therapy along with daily group activities at our offices. The day program is facilitated by a licensed therapist. Each client will attend the day program, meet with an individual therapist, and attend evening sessions. Clients best suited for this program are those who:

• Have manageable to no medical conditions that would be a distraction from treatment
• Have mild to no emotional, behavioral, or cognitive conditions that would require stabilization
• In the past, have had poor participation in treatment, significant ambivalence or lack of awareness of the substance abuse or mental health problem, and requires daily intensive services
• Have a high probability of relapse, requiring near daily monitoring or support to maintain abstinence
• Have a non-supportive environment but can cope with structure and support
• Have failed to achieve abstinence at a lower level of care
