THAT MAY BE THE INITIAL REASON BUT WE HAVE SEEN IS THAT IS NOT WHAT KEEPS THEM IN RECOVERY. FEAR IS NOT ENOUGH AND THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TREATMENT AND RECOVERY.
JILL: EXACTLY AND WHAT I HAVE NOTICE BRIAN WHEN SOMEONE IS COMING IN TO PLEASE THE FAMILY MEMBER IF THAT FIRST WEEK CAN BE ROCKY BUT THEN FINALLY OVER THE WEEKS THAT FOLL0OW YOU START TO RECOVERY AND TOUCH THAT PERSON WHEHERE THEY UNDERSTAND THAT THEY ARE IN RECOVERY FOR THEMSELVES. YOU CAN’T DRAG SOMEONE IN AND EXPECT THEM TO BE COMPLETELY COMPLIANT. IT TAKES INPUT AND TIME.
BRIAN: THAT IS WHERE THE FAMILY IS NEEDED, IT IS SO TRUE, IF A PERSON COMES IN EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE FINE…..THEY HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO. WE HUNDERSTAND …”FEAR ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH.”
