Breakthrough Addiction Recovery is an upscale private alcohol and drug treatment center located in the northeast suburbs of Atlanta, GA. All of our confidential programs are outpatient. We feature flexible treatment schedules that accommodate the needs of the individual client. There is no need to leave your home and family or take a leave of absence from work to get effective treatment.
Out of town clients are provided with accommodations in a comfortable nearby suite and are encouraged to bring a loved one during their stay if so desired. Our program is not a traditional lock down. You may continue to work and function normally while being treated for your substance abuse problems with respect and dignity.

Our Programs Provide
Alcohol and drug detox. We provide medically supervised private and confidential ambulatory detoxification services for clients that require detoxification. Detox for alcohol is performed in the client’s home or in a comfortable suite and prescription drug, opiate or benzodiazepine detox is performed in our offices.
Non 12-Step alcohol and drug treatment, rehabilitation and individualized care. Most plans include medical assessment, treatment and monitoring, nutritional evaluation and guidance, individual counseling, group counseling and extensive education on the pharmacology and physiology of the client’s particular addiction. Psychological and Physiological evaluations are performed in order to develop personalized treatment plans. Each client is evaluated and an individual treatment plan is then designed to address their personal needs.
Medications to lessen or abate cravings. These medications are prescription only FDA approved drugs such as Naltrexone, Suboxone, Vivitrol and Campral. They were developed to alter the mechanics of how drugs are metabolized in the body. Some of these drugs are available only from a limited number of specially trained physicians. None of these medications are mind-altering or addictive.
Dual diagnosis assessment and treatment. Often, chemically dependent people have other psychological issues that have accelerated their drug or alcohol abuse or addiction. We evaluate our client’s psychological needs and problems and address these issues with therapy.
Cross addiction treatment. Many clients have developed dependencies on more than one substance. Often these cross addictions have developed while attempting to control or function while dealing with their primary addiction.
